1. Who we are

GetMeBestDeal, operated by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity / proprietor name], provides flight-deal alerts at www.getmebestdeal.com. This policy explains what we collect and why.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, and the home cities you choose to track.
  • Subscription data: plan, status, and renewal dates. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we receive a customer/ subscription identifier but not your full card details.
  • Usage & delivery data: which alerts we sent you and which deal links you clicked (to measure what's useful).
  • Analytics: if you consent, product-analytics events via PostHog (see cookies below).
  • Error logs: technical diagnostics via Sentry to fix bugs.

3. How we use it

To run the Service: authenticate you, send the deal alerts and account emails you signed up for, process your subscription, measure and improve the product, and keep the Service secure.

4. Email & marketing

We send deal-alert and service emails via Resend. You can unsubscribe from deal emails anytime using the link in any email or your settings. Essential account messages may still be sent.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in. Non-essential analytics cookies (PostHog) are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner; you can change your choice anytime. Declining analytics does not affect your alerts.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the Service: Supabase (database & auth), Resend (email), Razorpay (payments), Telegram (channel delivery), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error tracking), and Vercel (hosting). We don't sell your personal data.

7. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see contact); we'll remove your personal data except where we must retain limited records (e.g. payment/tax records) by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email us.
